Focused on Family and Community Health

Serving Brampton 50+ Years: About Brameast Family Health Organization

Serving our community’s needs for over 50 years, Brameast Family Health Organization is committed to providing quality care to our patients in all areas of family practice in the Brampton area, including:

  • Prenatal care, labour and delivery

  • Newborn and baby care

  • Pediatrics

  • Adolescents

  • Adult medicine

  • Geriatrics

  • Palliative care of the dying

  • Teaching of family practice residents

Our health care team includes family and resident physicians, registered nurses and our administrative staff team to support your family medicine needs. Our physicians are all active staff at Brampton Civic Hospital. We provide care to our patients when they’re admitted to hospital for medical problems or surgery. Our physicians are also involved in palliative care and obstetrics care within the Brampton community. We offer extended hours daily, on weekends and statutory holidays to accommodate our patients. We also operate a medical clinic for minor emergencies and acute/urgent medical problems on a walk-in basis, exclusively for patients at Brameast Family Physicians. Most of our doctors work at least one evening per week and share the acute care clinic coverage.

We Teach Family Medicine Residents

Many of our family physicians and staff enjoy teaching and mentoring family medicine residents through McMaster University’s Family Medicine Residency Program. Many of our medical residents are completing electives in palliative care and family medicine and are about to begin their own family medicine practices. Care provided by residents is fully supervised.

What to Expect as a Brameast FHO Patient

Patients are required to enroll with their family physician into the Family Health Organization. When you enroll, you commit to obtaining ALL of your primary medical care from us, except in an emergency if you are traveling. This ensures that ALL your medical care is kept in one place. Any of our doctors will be able to manage and follow through on your complete health care needs.

Schedule an Appointment with Us Today

Patients are required to manage their appointments. This includes booking appointments for each family member that needs to be seen, including the reason for the visit, so that’s scheduled correctly. Patients need to notify our office of any cancellations at least 24 hours in advance. On occasion, a physician’s schedule may get changed. Our office will make every effort to provide adequate notice of changes to booked appointments. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have and/or to schedule an appointment!
